Víctor Lax
Víctor Lax was born in 1979 in a small town in the province of Huesca. Later, he moved to Zaragoza to specialize in photography, a discipline that had sparked his passion from an early age.
Upon completing his studies, he began his career as a photojournalist, collaborating for several years with El Periódico de Aragón. His path in the press world continued with prestigious media outlets such as Heraldo de Aragón and Agencia EFE, establishing himself as a committed photographer with a keen eye.
In 2009, his career took an unexpected turn when he was invited by several colleagues to document a wedding. Inspired by the principles of photojournalism, he decided to approach the event's coverage from an innovative perspective, focusing on people and the genuine moments surrounding them, leaving behind traditional and predictable images. It was then that he discovered the immense potential of wedding photography, turning it into his new passion and specialty.
Currently, Víctor combines his work as a wedding photographer around the world with teaching, delivering workshops and lectures at renowned international events such as NineDots (UK), Mystic Seminars and WPPI (USA), Wedding Brazil (Brazil), Master Class100 (Colombia), Silk Festival (India), Peps (France), Nomad (Morocco), ANFM (Italy), LTF (Ireland), and Photo Forum Spain. Additionally, he is an ambassador for major brands such as Nikon Europe, Aftershoot, and Dreambookspro.
International recognition has not been long in coming. Víctor has been repeatedly named one of the best wedding photographers in the world by various specialized directories, with notable accolades such as being awarded Photographer of the Year multiple times by Fearless Photographers.
His work, characterized by an authentic visual narrative and a unique sensitivity, continues to inspire photographers worldwide and elevate wedding photography to new heights.
