🔹 Objectives:

To train attendees in the effective use of flash, from basic to advanced techniques using one, two, and three flashes, both indoors and outdoors, as well as image editing in Lightroom and Photoshop.

Module 1: Introduction to Flash (Theory and Practice)

• Basic lighting concepts
• Difference between natural and artificial light
• What flash is and how it works
• Flash modes: Manual, TTL, and HSS
• Flash synchronization with the camera

Module 2: Types of Flashes (Theory)

• Speedlight vs. studio flashes
• On-camera vs. off-camera flash
• Advantages and disadvantages of each type

Module 3: Light Modifiers (Theory and Practice)

• Diffusers and reflectors
• Softboxes, umbrellas, and snoots
• Color gels for flash
• Grids
• Practical exercise: Testing different modifiers in the same setup

Module 4: Lighting Setups – Indoors and Outdoors (Practice)

4.1 Indoor Lighting

• Using bounced and direct flash
• Key light + fill light setups
• Using rim lights and background separation
• Creating volume with flash

4.2 Outdoor Lighting

• Balancing flash with natural light
• "Fill flash" technique
• Using flash for backlight

• Practical exercise: Simulating setups in different scenarios

Module 5: Editing in Lightroom and Photoshop (Practice)

• Basic Lightroom processing for flash photography
